VERIFIED PET PARENTS
The coat gives it away first.
Every review below is a verified purchase imported from our Amazon store, same jar, same formula.
“Bella's coat is shinier and she's playful again after a month. I check my own supplement labels, so I appreciated being able to check hers — every dose is right there.”
“My senior girl gets up from her bed noticeably easier. I'd tried glucosamine chews before; the green-lipped mussel here seems to be the difference.”
“I cook for my dog, and this fills the gaps my homemade food misses. He licks the bowl clean — the liver flavor does its job.”
QUESTIONS PET PARENTS ASK
Straight answers, in full.
Synthetic vitamins are isolates produced in a laboratory. When a label lists “Vitamin A” or “Vitamin D3” as an ingredient, that vitamin was made synthetically, even if the front of the jar says natural. Whole-food vitamins come from the foods that naturally carry them, in the forms and ratios a dog's body evolved to absorb. Our nutrients come from freeze-dried beef liver and heart, organic vegetables, berries, salmon oil, and flaxseed. No isolates on the label.
Green-lipped mussel from New Zealand is the most effective whole-food source of natural glucosamine, chondroitin, and rare omega-3s for canine joints. Most multivitamins use cheaper synthetic glucosamine HCl instead. We include green-lipped mussel at a full 60 mg per scoop because it works better, even though it costs considerably more to source.
Kibble meets minimum nutrient standards, but heavy processing degrades fragile nutrients, and minimums aren't the same as optimal levels for immunity, joints, coat, and digestion. A real-food multivitamin fills those gaps the way food does. Dogs on homemade or raw diets benefit even more, since those diets often lack a consistent micronutrient base.
By design. Most dogs on commercial diets already get adequate calcium, and stacking more can cause problems, especially for large-breed puppies. Dogs on homemade diets who need calcium should have it dosed to their specific meals by a vet.
Yes, there's no chicken in either formula. The flavor base is beef liver. Both products are also grain-free and gluten-free. For beef allergies or other specific sensitivities, review the full ingredient ledger with your vet.
Yes. The formulas are designed to work together and the doses account for each other. Multivitamin + Dental Powder is the intended daily combination — the Complete Care Duo is the most economical way to use both.
Skin and coat usually respond first: most pet parents report a softer, shinier coat and better appetite within 2 to 4 weeks of daily use. Joint and mobility changes typically show at 4 to 8 weeks, and immune and internal benefits build quietly over months. Consistency is the real active ingredient, which is why subscribers see the best results.
Please don't. Human multivitamins are dosed for human bodyweight and needs, and some contain ingredients that are dangerous for dogs, including xylitol, high iron, and high vitamin D. Dog supplements are dosed to bodyweight with canine-appropriate nutrient forms. If your dog ever eats human vitamins, contact your veterinarian.
Over-supplementation is a real risk with synthetic megadose products, especially fat-soluble vitamins A and D. KOPO takes the whole-food route instead: nutrients arrive in food form and food ratios, doses are weight-based, and there are no synthetic isolates to stack up. Follow the serving chart, don't combine with another multivitamin, and keep the jar closed and out of reach. If a dog ever eats a large amount at once, call your vet.
The flavor base is freeze-dried beef liver and heart, the same ingredients used in high-value training treats. Mixed into food, most dogs treat it as a bonus rather than medicine; with dry kibble, a splash of water helps the powder coat every piece. If your dog still refuses it, the 30-day empty-jar guarantee covers you.
Most dogs transition with no issues, and the built-in probiotics, prebiotic fiber, and enzymes actively support digestion. For sensitive stomachs, introduce gradually: half the recommended scoops with meals for the first week, then the full amount. If digestive upset persists beyond a few days, stop and consult your veterinarian.
Use it daily for a month. If you don't see fresher breath, better energy, or a happier dog, email hello@kopopet.com and we'll refund your first order — empty jar and all.
